SYNOPSIS

LETTERS TO OUR DAUGHTERS features mothers speaking to their daughters about what it is like being a woman in today’s world and why it is important to support and invest in other women.

In this feature-length documentary-drama, New Mexican women read heartfelt letters to their daughters in which they impart healthy doses of wisdom, peace, faith, hope and love to future generations of women. Accompanying the letters and inspired by their content is a colorfully rich array of materials such as poetry, song, dance and fictional narratives, all designed to reinforce the belief that investing in women and girls is paramount to the well-being of the world.
