Incredible Films, LLC was officially founded in 2008. Incredible Films specializes in low-budget, independent filmmaking.

Incredible Films strives to demonstrate the ideals of truth, passion and love while producing projects inspired by and primarily designed to directly benefit the state of New Mexico and its diverse population.

CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL ROYBAL

Christopher Michael Roybal was born and raised in El Valle de Arroyo Seco, New Mexico. In 2002 after graduating from St. Michael’s High School in Santa Fe, NM, Roybal relocated to Los Angeles, CA to attend the University of Southern California.

At USC, Roybal studied under elite industry professionals while attending the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts and Annenberg School for Communication. In 2006, he graduated with honors while earning degrees in Communication and Cinema-Television and then promptly relocated back to New Mexico.

Since founding Incredible Films, Roybal has written and directed various projects in New Mexico while working to establish a truly self-sustained local film industry and provide film education and training for local youth.

Roybal actively works with Future Voices of New Mexico, a collaborative filmmaking project that takes inspiration from the ALL ROADS FILM PROJECT of the National Geographic Society, to collaborate with local teachers to engage students at all stages of the filmmaking process, including pursuing careers in the industry.

Also, in early 2011, Roybal founded New Mexico Film Forum, the premier social network specifically designed to serve the New Mexico film community and support the growth and enrichment of a truly self-sustained New Mexico film industry.

Roybal intends to remain in New Mexico while developing his many projects and enriching the state through his art and outreach.

Filmography

Roybal’s first film, OUR FIRST GOODBYE (2006), premiered at the Santa Fe Film Festival and showcased the beautiful Cathedral Basilica of Saint Francis and Santa Fe Plaza.

Roybal’s second film, LA DOLCE (2006), served as his acting debut. The small and highly experimental art film was shot in Albuquerque and Espanola, NM.

Roybal’s third film, DESCANSOS (2009), showcases over 30 up-and-coming actors and musicians from all over the world. The story spans all the way across New Mexico, from Albuquerque to Taos and finally ending in the small village of Chimayo and at its sacred church, El Santuario.

Roybal’s fourth film, THE SPANISH ROOM (2010), features Yjastros: The American Flamenco Repertory Company, based out of the National Institute of Flamenco in downtown Albuquerque, NM, and serves as Roybal’s first foray into documentary filmmaking.

Roybal’s fifth film, LETTERS TO OUR DAUGHTERS (2010), features mothers speaking to their daughters about what it is like being a woman in today’s world and why it is important to support and invest in other women.
